I’m finally back!!!! Yes, I know it’s been waaay to long since I’ve written anything decent. I’ve been a little busy lately and to be honest, a little lacking in the motivation area to write. Although, I think it’s been the same way for a few of my peers as well. (you know who you are people)

My life lately doesn’t seem like it belongs to me. We all know that I love to travel. Maybe you don’t, at least I know I love to travel and discover new places and experience new cultures. I just didn’t think I would be able to do it as much as I have been lately. Oh, such a tough life I lead.

Within the last 2 months I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to Rome, Italy (twice, did I mention that I’ve been here 2x in the last 2 months?) Yeah, it’s been kind of an out of body experience for me. I would have never thought that in a million years I would go there twice.

Since I’ve been to Roma, I have experienced all the places I’ve only dreamt about and seen in my art history books. The Pantheon, Colosseum, St. Peter’s just to name a few. Along with experiencing these historical places, I also got a little taste of their food, and a little glimpse of what life of a Roman is like. Let me tell you, they’re proud proud people ( I really think that’s an understatement), knowledgeable of their history, and they love to mangia mangia. I swear, I don’t know where they put it all.

The city is always busy. People are always polite with salutations and they never leave without saying goodbye. Next to my first wish of being able to teleport myself, my second would be to be able to speak any language. That would have alleviated me from the headache of trying to communicate with the family I was staying with and fumbling through a dictionary when playing charades just didn’t cut it anymore. I couldn’t understand what anyone was saying and most of the time, I would just sit there and be quiet and listen. I guess not such a bad thing since I babble all the time in the U.S.

I was so fortunate to have such an awesome tour guide. I swear this boy must have a history book locked up in that brain of his. He knew almost every detail to every story of Rome which made visiting the sites more fascinating because of all the background he knew.

I honestly never thought Italy would be a place I wanted to come visit. It hasn’t really been on the top of my to see places. After the first trip out to Rome and seeing what I’ve seen and experiencing the culture, food and people. I would definitely want to come back and experience other parts of Italy. Anyone want to go?

Hope the little guy doesn’t see his shadow today so winter will end soon.

Ha ha. The end.

Happy Holidays.

If I were to send out a Christmas card, it would look something like the one below.

I hope everyone had a good Christmas/holiday with your families and or loved ones.

No title because I’m too tired to think of one.

So…I was supposed to be in bed about an hour ago but still, no dice. I’m so talented, I can even procrastinate on sleep. Genius I tell you, or not.

I’ve been meaning to write, I swear, it’s the truth. If you had admin access to my blog, you can see that there’s actually about twenty or so drafts just sitting there waiting to be set free. The most recent titled, “If no one else will, I’ll have to”. I thought I would be smart and write a blog since none of the other sites I frequent have been. Unfortunately, Pm.net beat me to the punch. He finally decided he had something worth writing about and posted two new blogs in one day. Jesus, that man is a overachiever.

There has been no significant change in my life the last time I had put up a post. Honestly, I don’t know if this blog thing is for me anymore. I don’t think people are interested that I went to Target tonight to find mint Hershey’s kisses and that I was unsuccessful. Damn, I really hate Hershey’s right now.

Maybe I’ll change my mind in a month or so and start posting on a daily basis, who knows how I’ll feel. Ok, I really need to go to bed. I have a client meeting tomorrow at 9 a.m. which means I have to be there even earlier than that. For those of you who know me, you know I’m not a morning person. (I’m trying to get better though, promise.) So, this is good night.

TTFN and don’t hold your breath for a new post anytime soon.

xoxo…

I’m finally going to bed.
I’ll say good morning in approx 2-3 hours.
Until then, goodnight.

Older and wiser, I think not.

I’m still up and it’s 3:53 a.m. Unfortunately, I did this to myself, once again. The same vicious cycle repeats itself every twelve weeks. On a happy note, I finally finished my final project. But, yes there’s a but. I have a few things I need to make up from past classes and I have yet to study for the actual written final.

I feel as if I’m getting more irresponsible in my old age. I thought my days of all nighters were over.

Time management vs. Procrastination.

Sadly, the latter always wins.

Oh Dear God.

I’m going off of around less than 6 hours of sleep. I’m still half asleep while I type this and I have a 38 mile ride ahead of me this morning. Yeah, I’m chickening out of the 63 mile. My ass can’t take it. Other than that, I’m thinking I should still be in bed. I haven’t been up before 7 a.m. in a long while.

Anyway, I’m a little nervous since I haven’t been on a bike since last October. This will be interesting.

Wish me luck.
